Abstract
DES is a new type of efficient, low-cost, environmentally-friendly extractant. In this study, a new hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent for the enrichment of BPs was designed and prepared by mixing different molar ratios of octanol and menthol. Several important parameters affecting the extraction efficiency were optimized, including the choice of DES composition, volume, effect of salt, extraction time and pH value. The results showed that the method has a wide linear range (5-1000 μg/L) and linear correlation coefficients (R2) higher than 0.995. The values of LOD and LOQ were in the range of 0.17-0.26 μg L-1 and 0.52-0.85 μg L-1, respectively. The GAPI method was applied to assess the greenness of the experimental methods and the results showed that our experimental methods are environmentally friendly. In addition, the developed method was successfully used for the extraction and determination of three bisphenols from beverage samples. The method is simple and efficient which has potential applications in the field of detection of bisphenols in food.
