Abstract

Research Management is essential to a university’s function. Preprints are preliminary versions of scientific manuscripts that researchers share by posting to preprint servers before peer review and publication in an academic journal. Preprint servers are publicly available online archives that host preprints and their associated data. Postprints are finished publication after the peer review. This study aims to design a research management system and process using Open-Source applications for Pangasinan State University, Lingayen Campus. It serves as the platform for research publication for students and faculty staff of the university. A result of usability is also presented as a basis for the proposed improvement of the process and system.
