Abstract

[enter Abstract Body]ON 24 February 2022 the Russian Federation carried out Special Military Operation специальная военная операция» на Украине against Ukraine, de iure an act of aggression in flagrant violation of the Art. 2(4) of Charter of the UN . As a result of this aggressive warfare, the Ukraine along with its citizens suffered enormous economic and environmental losses.

This short Art. attempts to explore options of determining and securing war reparation indemnities from Russia to Ukraine, based on the international public law and rules of responsibility of states for internationally wrongful acts.
The state of Ukraine and all of its citizens are entitled under international human law, IHL as well as and domestic law for war reparation . Therefore available options under international law remedies and war indemnities of Federation of Russia for injured individuals from Ukraine for infringement of serious infringement of international law are discussed. Art. tries to answer the question whether do not only sovereign state but foremost injured individuals of violations of applicable rules of international (humanitarian) law have a right to war indemnities , in particular monetary compensation, under applicable domestic law of state liability? Another question is related to the enforcement of war reparation claims
