Abstract

Throughout the pandemic, I came to many realizations. Realizations that allowed me to strive to improve the environment. Millions have been killed by the Coronavirus and as time passes, those numbers will continue to rise. It was a matter of time before I realized that as the numbers continue to increase, the environment deteriorates because of one thing: masks. Masks are supposed to save lives, but in the long run, discarded masks will end up harming us. The increase in waste disposal has staggered due to the pandemic and the widespread use of masks. The world we once lived in has changed.
