LEGISLATION POLICY MAPPING TECHNIQUES USING VOSVIEWER AND MENDELEY APPLICATIONS

Abstract

The unavailability of Metadata from Indonesian Legislation makes it very difficult for researchers to carry out public policy analysis with VOSviewer. By utilizing Mendeley's manual information entry feature, researchers can now create Legislation metadata as well as export it into a Research Information System (RIS) file. By VOSviewer the RIS data is visualized into Mapping. Assuming that Legislation metadata such as Name, Legal Basis for Formation and General Provisions can be equated with Journal Metadata such as Title, Author and Keyword, Legislation metadata can be analyzed bibliometrically, especially co-author and co-occurrence analysis using VOSviewer, so an overview of the Public Policy universe will be obtained contained in a number of Legislations that were analyzed, especially the relationship between Legislation and other Legislations in terms of the similarity of legal basis and content material contained therein.
