Abstract

Given the meteoric rise in plain language laws, state attorney general offices should consider the impact of plain language on their operations. First, they should consider voluntarily adopting plain language. Second, they should learn to comply with plain language laws and defend agencies subject to them. Third, they should learn how to enforce plain language laws.
