Applied Corporate Finance Textbook, Part 1 (Draft - 7 Chapters)

Abstract

This is a second draft of core chapters for the textbook on Applied Corporate finance. The book explores Applied Corporate Finance problems through the prism of financial modelling. So far, it covers the basics of capital budgeting and special cases of investment projects (costs-only projects, contigent projects), discusses the handling of taxes and uncertainty in financial modelling. One bonus case study of an investment project to create a regional airline is included.
