Abstract

The legislative assembly recently passed an EV Policy to bring all the scope of electric mobility under the spectrum of the government control. This policy is targeted to achieve the aim that the central government aims for. But, is this policy effective enough to achieve the ambitious goal of central government and also derive the result of the mission for the state’s own benefit, is something which debatable and only results it reap could settle it. However, the motive and the mission of the UP Govt through this policy is a dream which is too good to be true. Is it achievable or would prove to the contrary?

This paper deeply analyses the policy and all the benefits it is providing to the customers and the manufacturers and also the drawbacks which accompanies this policy. This paper also provides an insightful analysis as to where the policy makers went wrong with it and the future possibilities and beyond.
