Abstract

‘Changing Saudi Arabia for the better means helping the region and changing the world’, the statement by Mohammad bin Salman, the prince of Saudi Arabia is a true depiction as to how strong and strategically important is the country. Saudi Arabia, officially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), is a country in west-Asia covering a bulk of Arabian Peninsula and is the fifth largest country in Asia along with being the second largest in the Arabic community. However, this country is not that backward as it is commonly interpreted but is the backbone of the various developed nations in this world as it commonly survives on the abundance of the most crucial yet scant natural resource on this planet- Petroleum. But does this nation has more power at the international stage apart from controlling petroleum is one question which comes striking.
