It explores incorporating prayer and meditation into traders' routines to enhance profitability. The study finds that religious traders have higher anticipatory feeling (AF) scores, better predicting market movements and utilizing internal cues for increased profitability. Spiritual practices reduce cognitive load and improve interoceptive abilities, crucial for effective trading decisions. In contrast, news-dependent traders experience heightened cognitive load, impairing interoceptive accuracy. Risk-averse traders may exhibit reduced interoceptive skills. The paper underscores integrating religiosity to enhance traders' well-being and interoceptive awareness. Results highlight the potential of these practices in improving decision-making, ultimately leading to increased profitability. With these findings, incorporating prayer and meditation into traders' routines can enhance their profitability and overall performance.
