Abstract

This study examines a demand-constant inventory-fuzzy-model and shortages are tolerated. In the proposed inventory model, our main motive is to reduce costs as much as possible. So, optimization method is used to optimize the cost. Due to uncertainty some parameters of the model contains fuzzy nature. Due to which cost function also contains fuzzy nature. So, our goal is to convert them into crisp one. Various defuzzification methods are utilized for this purpose for triangular fuzzy numbers (TFN). Several defuzzification methods are analyzed numerically. The research concludes with a sensitivity analysis.
