Abstract

Portuguese Abstract: O presente trabalho cria uma tipologia da cláusula-dólar como gênero da convenção sobre a fixação de obrigação contratual em moeda estrangeira. Discute-se a função e regime jurídico da cláusula-dólar, e conclui-se com cautelas para sua redação.

English Abstract: The present work creates a typology of the dollar-clause as a genre of the convention on the establishment of a contractual obligation in foreign currency. The function and legal regime of the dollar-clause is discussed, and the article concludes with cautions for its wording.
