Abstract

The distinctive magnetic and thermodynamic properties of a ferrimagnetic graphene-like trilayer are studied by Monte Carlo method. This work focuses on the compensation temperatures and critical behaviors induced by crystal-fields and exchange couplings. The results show that a negative decrease in crystal field or an increase in exchange coupling can result in an increase in critical temperature. Besides, double compensation temperatures can be found for certain parameters. Finally, we also observe triple-loop hysteresis behaviors driven by various parameters.
