The Enhanced Photodegradation and Photocatalytic H2 Evolution of Mn2o3/Cds Hollow Octahedral Core-Shell Pn Junction Via Mofs Auxiliary

Abstract
The Mn2O3/CdS hollow octahedral core-shell pn junction was obtained via hybrid chemical-calcination method. The Mn2O3/CdS pn junction (Cd/Mn-3) exhibits observable enhanced HER activity (~5601.92 μmol∙g-1∙h-1) and photodegradation CIP than Mn2O3 (~19 folds/~15 folds) and CdS (~52 folds/~35 folds). Mn2O3/CdS pn junction with greater potential gradient, as well as Mn2O3 with higher light response is able to ameliorate carrier efficiency, including transportation increasing, lifetime prolonging and recombination decreasing. Furthermore, formed hollow structure is able to increase photocatalytic active sites/light reflections, meanwhile maintaining decent stability.
