Abstract

Accounting is an activity of recording, monitoring and reporting which contains reports on operational activities during a certain period. Accounting has very important benefits for companies, especially for stakeholders. Because through the financial reports the company's top officials can make decisions for the future.

The accounting process is a complex job, and it takes an accounting professional to do it. Not infrequently there is an accounting record error caused by human error. Therefore, the presence of digitalized technology is very helpful for accountants in carrying out their work. Accounting work will be more effective and efficient.

Technological developments are undeniable in the current era. Because now we are required to understand and even have to be able to master technology well. In the world of accounting, technology has many positive impacts but also has negative impacts. Through this article we will explain how the future of accounting is in the digital era.
