Abstract
A fatigue loading system with 20 Hz was established to simulate loading characteristics of ballastless track concrete. The surface resistivity (SR) method was utilized to evaluate damage, and its applicability was also explored. The results showed that SR and damage variables (Dρ) exhibited a three-stage trend under fatigue load corresponding to concrete damage process, while frequency and stress level displayed major influence on Stage Ⅲ. Although moisture content and measurement duration had noticeable impacts, SR effectively expressed fatigue damage features in different concrete. This study highlights SR method for accurately assessing fatigue damage and predicting service life of ballastless tracks.
