Abstract
This article appeared as foreword to a collection of EU and national cases sanctioning market sharing cartels and bid-rigging. The period covered runs from 2017 to June 2023. During that period, competition authorities across Europe uncovered a remarkable number of market sharing cartels. The article reflects on the trends laid bare by these cases, and on the evolution of the number of cases.
