Abstract

This study explores the relationship between innovative university training and graduate employability. Quantitative research methods were employed, involving four universities and five industries in the Bono, Ahafo, and Ashanti regions. The sample consisted of 218 respondents, including university administrators, graduates, and industry personnel. The data analysis utilized correlation, regression, and descriptive statistics. Findings indicate a high-level understanding of innovative education among graduates, university administrators, and industry professionals. Regression results suggest a positive relationship between strategic identifiers used in graduate employment and the consideration of innovation, contributing to graduate unemployment in Ghana. Correlation analysis reveals that low levels of innovative education are a significant factor in graduate unemployment. Respondents expressed a preference for graduates with innovative university education backgrounds. Recommendations include fostering a strong synergy between industry and universities for industrial-based learning and providing educational resources for digital literacy at the university level to enhance graduates' contributions to productivity in the digital era.
