Abstract

In order to meet the requirements of resource recovery and sustainable development, this paper proposes a technical route that takes sewage sludge (particulate or colloidal organic matter in sewage enriched by coagulation and precipitation) as raw material, which underwent hydrothermal treatment and modification to acquire flocculation properties. Subsequently, it was added to urban sewage for the purpose of enriching a portion of the organic matter, enabling its recycling. This paper mainly focuses on the comparative analysis of different modification methods, choose etherification and grafting copolymerization to prepare crude organic coagulants, and compare and discuss from the perspective of reaction mechanism, synthetic conditions and coagulation effect, and finally select the modification method suitable for the characteristics of macromolecular products derived from hydrothermal liquid phase.

Keywords: Sewage sludge, Macromolecular products from hydrothermal liquid phase, Etherification, Graft copolymerization, Coarse organic flocculant.
