Research and Application Analysis on the Pollution Control of Tail Gas Emissions from Co2 Capture Absorber
Abstract
In this study, the emission and control of flue gas pollutants in CO2 chemical absorption system was studied. It was found that the condensation nuclei in the gas were the main factor that affected aerosol emissions, and reducing the number of condensation nuclei in the flue was the most direct method to control pollutant emissions after the water washing tower. Higher temperature of lean liquid will increase absorbent emission; however, the water washing tower could effectively control this increase. Reducing the lean liquid load could also significantly increase the absorbent emissions, and an appropriate reduction in lean liquid load combined with a certain absorption intensification indicated effective regulatory means. At the same time, based on a 2 million tons/year flue gas CO2 capture project of a coal-fired power plant, the combined process of water washing and dry bed was studied. A control scheme for dry bed and two-stage water washing was put forward, which effectively controlled the emission of large particles aerosol. The decline rate of absorbent emission is 24.9%-41.8%, reaching 0.180kg/t CO2, which reach the international leading level.
