This study attempts to analyse the role of political aspects in the administration and doling out of justice by international courts and tribunals, with an emphasis on transnational justice in the modern world. It is necessary to have international courts and tribunals to confront and resolve issues that transcend national boundaries, ensure that those responsible for international crimes are held accountable, and ensure that justice and human rights are upheld as values.
