Abstract

This essay (a) investigates Advanced Transformation in enterprises that require orchestration, drawing lessons from the hedge fund industry; (b) highlights Federation and Three-Layer Companies as a practical approach that balances decentralisation and centralization seeking flexibility while exploiting synergies; and (c) explores Laboratory practices along with the unlocking of novel endeavours such as Data-driven Boards and defence against social media attacks. As a result, it provides valuable insights and a practical roadmap for a number of players trying to gain value upon technology advances and synergies - any organisation trying to leverage the multifaceted benefits of algorithmics to M&A fund managers trying to aggregate similar companies or infrastructure enterprises trying to beat the tender price.
