Abstract

The dynamic analysis of magnetic particles in a rotating magnetic field and the exploration of the magnetic agglomeration mechanism are crucial for effectively reducing agglomeration in ferromagnetic minerals and improving sorting efficiency. In this study, we analyzed the forces acting on magnetic particles in a rotating magnetic field. The utilization of COMSOL Multiphysics finite element simulation software facilitated the construction of a 3D model, which was employed to simulate the intricate interaction between two magnetic particles in a rotating magnetic field. The motion characteristics of magnetic particles in a rotating magnetic field have been developed by analyzing the trajectory, speed, and acceleration of the particles under different conditions. Additionally, the influence of different conditions on the movement characteristics of the particles was studied as well. The results have significant theoretical reference value for advancing research on the dynamics of magnetic particles and refining the mechanism of magnetic agglomeration.
