Abstract

Mohamed Helal served as the Special Rapporteur of the African Union on the Application of International Law in Cyberspace. The Common African Position on the Application of International Law to the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Cyberspace was unanimously adopted by the Peace and Security Council of the African Union on January 29, 2024, pursuant to Communiqué 1196 (2024). The present document includes the Common African Position and all communiqués adopted by the Peace and Security Council of the African Union on this topic.
