Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare refers to the integration of digital technologies to improve the delivery of healthcare services, enhance patient outcomes, and streamline operational processes within the healthcare industry. This transformation encompasses various aspects such as electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, wearable devices, artificial intelligence (AI), and data analytics. By leveraging these technologies, healthcare organizations can facilitate remote patient monitoring, personalized treatment plans, predictive analytics for disease management, and efficient communication among healthcare providers. Digital transformation not only enhances the quality and accessibility of healthcare but also promotes cost-effectiveness and empowers patients to take an active role in managing their health. However, it also poses challenges such as data privacy concerns, interoperability issues, and the need for workforce upskilling. Overall, digital transformation holds immense potential to revolutionize the healthcare sector and improve patient care on a global scale.
