Abstract
The word model has many definitions that describe its meaning and is so often used that it is sometimes difficult to explain its meaning. The model is perhaps the simplest to define as an approximate representation of an actual system or process. A conceptual model is a hypothetical representation of how a system or process works. This hypothesis can be quantitatively presented as a mathematical model. Mathematical models in an abstract way represent processes through equations, and physical properties through constants or coefficients. Characterization of states or their potential in the system are presented as variables. Most of the mathematical models in use today are of a deterministic nature. Deterministic models are based on the law of conservation of mass, momentum and energy and show cause - and - effect relationships. The basic assumption is that there is a high degree of understanding of the processes operating in the system and it is possible to predetermine the system's responses to any set of actions.
