Abstract
Abstract:Accurate estimation of the contact stress of the aircraft involute spline pair is the basis of accurate estimation of its wear, but the M-B contact model based on Hertzian formula is not suitable for the involute spline pair with tooth surface texture. In view of this, this paper constructs the contact coefficient of involute spline based on the actual contact situation, derives the relationship between fractal dimension and real contact area, and obtains the relationship between the real contact area of tooth surface textured spline pair surface and load. Finally, the fractal contact model of tooth surface textured involute spline based on fractal theory is established, and the simulation verification is carried out by Matlab. The results indicate that:The fractal dimension D, roughness amplitude parameter G, and material property parameters()have important effects on the fractal contact model of textured involute splines on the tooth surface, and there must be an appropriate fractal dimension D value to achieve the optimal contact state; The larger the roughness amplitude parameter G value, the worse the surface contact state and the lower the surface contact strength; The larger the material property parameters(), the better the surface contact state and the higher the surface contact strength. This is a preliminary exploration for accurately calculating the contact stress of spline pairs, and also lays a good theoretical foundation for accurately predicting the wear of involute spline pairs with tooth surface texture.
