Abstract
Background: This study focuses on district-wise inequalities in the use of South Indian districts.
Methods: District-wise analysis of the fifth National Family Health Survey (NFHS) round was conducted. Cluster analysis was performed to classify districts into homogenous groups, and descriptive analysis was used to compare states' use.
Results: Three clusters were formed based on the cluster analysis and were characterized by high, medium, and low usage. States such as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana recorded higher usage, whereas the rest were scattered around medium and low levels.
