Abstract

This Conversation, drawing upon case studies of feminist engagements in digital media spaces by Muslim women in India and online feminist activism in China, explores four key facets of digital feminism, which include 1) its nature and features; 2) its new way to shape local and global connections in feminist communities; 3) its implications on the development of digital citizenship; and 4) its innovative pathways to digital empowerment.
