Abstract

English Abstract: The article discusses the nature of happiness and its connection to shared experiences. It begins by exploring Charlotte Brönte’s famous statement that unshared happiness lacks taste. It then argues that while contentment and joy can be individually experienced emotions, true happiness requires the presence and participation of others. Drawing on philosophical and psychological perspectives, the article highlights the distinctiveness of shared happiness, which transcends contentment and joy by involving an element of ecstasy and communion with others. The article concludes that full happiness is achieved not in solitude but through meaningful connections and shared experiences.
