Bi-Coalitions Analysis in the Rough Sets Conflict Model

Abstract

In the paper we present the conflict analysis within the rough sets conflict model proposed by Pawlak. The model is enhanced with the new idea of bi-coalitions and the advantage of this approach is discussed. We then analyse the conflict between the bi-coalitions and based on this, we propose the algorithm of negotiations. The conflict analysis and the negotiation process are illustrated on the example of a real-life situation.
