Abstract
This study evaluated the performance of commercial ELISA-based assays for serological diagnosis of Schistosoma- and Strongyloides infection using plasma samples in comparison to serum samples. Plasma samples performed equally well to serum samples and we conclude that both sample types can be used for detection of Schistosoma- and Strongyloides antibodies.
