Abstract
This article explores the obstacles that women encounter in the legal system regarding mental health and addiction. It promotes gender-sensitive approaches and emphasises compassion, mindfulness, and community support as key elements in the recovery process. Self-care, social support, and professional assistance are all strategies. Emphasis is placed on the economic advantages that support service investments yield. Constraints regarding ongoing advocacy for an inclusive society are reiterated in the conclusion.
