Abstract
For cross-modal regional rail transit, a coordinated transportation organizational model is of paramount importance, serving as a crucial guarantee to enhance overall system efficiency and service quality. This study, based on an analysis of the primary requirements of stakeholders in regional rail transit, integrates synchronous transportation and innovatively proposes a multi-modal regional rail transit synchronous transportation model. Compared to other models, the advantage of the synchronous transportation model lies in dynamically adjusting intermodal connectivity based on passenger flow dynamics. Additionally, by analyzing three synchronous elements-transportation supply and demand synchronization, multiple participant synchronization, and decision synchronization, this study elucidates the decision-making process and coordination process of the synchronous transportation model, establishing a framework for this model and providing a theoretical basis for the synchronous development of regional multimodal rail transit in China.
