Abstract

Understanding workplace psychological risks and their consequences is crucial for fostering a safe work environment. Currently, there is no comprehensive instrument available that simultaneously measures both the risks and consequences. This paper introduces the Psychological Health and Safety Index Survey (PHSI-S) which is informed by ISO 45003 and the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

Keywords: Psychological hazards-safety, Stress, Burnout, Fatigue, Coping, Work-life balance, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, Spearman's rank-order coefficient
