Strategic Social Transformation: Advanced Game Theory and Planetary Chess

Abstract

This paper introduces Planetary Chess, an innovative system aimed at dismantling systemic racism, that includes an educational gaming platform. Still in the conceptual stage, the Planetary Chess game leverages game theory principles to enhance the learning experience, drawing inspiration from strategic decision-making concepts & game theory principles while leveraging blockchain technology such as NFTs in the Metaverse and the DAO. Planetary Chess offers players an immersive learning experience that combines traditional chess gameplay with educational content related to racism, social justice, and systemic oppression in accordance with counter racist strategic scholarship. Through both single-player and multiplayer modes, players engage with challenging scenarios and critical questions, fostering critical thinking skills and raising awareness of complex societal issues. By integrating game theory principles and technology, Planetary Chess has the potential to not only enhance learning outcomes but also spark meaningful conversations and inspire collective action towards positive societal change.
