Abstract

Five novel isoquinoline alkaloids, namely hendersines J–M (1–4), and a natural product isobicuculline (5) were identified from the rich alkaloids fraction of Corydalis hendersonii Hemsl. Their structures were elucidated based on spectroscopic analysis of HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR, X-ray diffraction, and electronic circular dichroism. Compounds 1a and1b are a pair of rare three-nitrogen isoquinoline alkaloid enantiomers, 2 and 3 are two isoquinoline alkaloids with benzo-fused N-heterocycle. Compounds 1a and 3 showed moderate protective effects against OGD-induced H9c2 cells injury, 1b and 2 showed NO inhibitory effects in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells at 20 μM.
