Abstract

After the development of new approaches to gravity such as loop quantum gravity, non commutative geometry and string theory, some interest on the application of fixed -minimal- scales of length has been developed. More recently, some of the developments on gravity have questioned if it could be an emergent property. Here we present a definition of classical gravity that pivots on these ideas, and observe that it can be expanded to the ambits of general relativity and generalized uncertainty relations.

Keywords: emergent gravity, quantum theory
