Abstract

Active listening, characterized by attentive and respectful engagement, is a crucial communication skill that distinguishes itself from passive listening. It fosters a supportive environment that promotes love and respect, proving invaluable in conflict resolution, trustbuilding, mutual understanding, collaboration, and leadership effectiveness. By genuinely acknowledging others' perspectives, active listeners can cultivate stronger relationships and facilitate more productive interactions in various personal and professional contexts. This approach to communication serves as a powerful tool for creating positive, empathetic, and efficient interpersonal dynamics. Biblical, Talmudic, and contemporary scholarly sources corroborate the assertions made in this paper.
