Abstract
Filtering effects, which can achieve multi-wavelength in mode-locked fiber lasers, are currently being investigated, including communications and industry. In this study, we present an all-normal dispersion (ANDi) ytterbium-doped fiber laser with various filter structures constituted by single-mode and polarization-maintaining fibers. Through both comparative experimental and numerical demonstrations, we identified the filtering effect due to the corresponding structure in a specific pump power range, achieving an increase in the wavelength of the spectrum under the filtering effect. This work reveals the role of power in filtering and provides a flexible nonlinear system for generating and studying multi-wavelength, which helps to achieve optimization and customization of output spectrum.
