Abstract

David H. Webber's book "The Rise of the Working-Class Shareholder: Labor’s Last Best Weapon" explores the use of labor's capital by labor unions. In this interview, former labor law practitioner and now labor law scholar Alvin Velazquez asks Webber to provide his views on what the future holds for the use of labor's capital, including engagement with private equity, and to answer critiques made by scholars to labor using its capital.
