Abstract

The Yajurveda, one of the four principal Vedic texts, serves as a cornerstone of ancient Indian spiritual and ritualistic traditions. Unique among the Vedas, it is divided into two primary branches: the Shukla Yajurveda (White Yajurveda) and the Krishna Yajurveda (Black Yajurveda). This division reflects differences in content organization, emphasis, and interpretive approaches. This research paper explores the origins, structural nuances, and the spiritual, philosophical, and ritualistic significance of these branches. Further, it delves into their enduring relevance, underscoring their profound impact on Vedic rituals, dharma, and the pursuit of spiritual harmony.
