Abstract

Currently dolls are very advantageous in promoting owners' creative merchandise brands as well as building corporate image. However, the development of dolls is a challenging and time-consuming process. For design beginners, gaining practical experience is essential in doll design, alongside formal education. However, with the rise of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technology, the threshold for creating design symbols has significantly lowered. To assess AIGC's potential in designing Chicken Essence doll elements, the author used the Midjourney program. The results showed that AI can greatly accelerate design efficiency and enhance creativity. The design process with AI involved: 1) Defining the product's imagery theme, 2) Using AI to create and extract figurative elements, 3) Converting these elements into doll features, and 4) Evaluating the design's commercial potential. After professional evaluation, no significant difference was found between AIgenerated designs and traditional methods. In conclusion, AIGC technology can rapidly create symbolic elements for IP figurines, making them more vivid and enhancing storytelling. This application positively impacts the marketing of cultural and creative products.
