Abstract
the SiC3D/7050 interpenetrating phase composites was fabricated by infiltrating 7050 solution into three-dimensional SiC reticulated foam struts via pressureless infiltration method. The effects of 20~100 N and 200 rpm on the tribological properties of the SiC3D/7050 using ball-on-disc friction and wear test apparatus. the optimal synthesis parameters for SiC3D/7050 were determined to be 850 °C for 2 h during the pressureless infiltration process, The significant reduction in the wear rate and the improved stability of the friction coefficient (μ) of the SiC3D/7050.The wear rate increased slightly from 1.49×10-13 m3/(N⋅m) to 8.68×10-13 m3/(N⋅m) and the μ decreased from 0.27 to 0.19. The stress–strain behavior of the Si3N4 ball against SiC3D/7050 was calculated by the finite element calculation software Solidwork Simulation.
