Abstract

This work investigated MoS2 nanosheets, ZnS nanospheres, and MoS2/ZnS nanocomposites as electrode materials for supercapacitor applications. The electrodes were fabricated binder-free and the composite MoS2/ZnS exhibited the highest specific capacitance of 1628.3 Fg-1 at a current density of 1 Ag-1 among the three, highlighting its excellent electrochemical performance. These findings suggest that optimizing the composition and structure of MoS2/ZnS nanocomposites could lead to improved efficiency and performance in supercapacitor technologies and open new avenues for advancements in energy storage technology.
