Abstract
The importance of integrating sustainability into economic systems is increasingly recognized globally. To promote sustainable global development, sustainable finance and investment, or SFI, is essential. Certain subjects have been the focus of research in this area, such as the financial performance of sustainable investments and businesses that are dedicated to sustainability. In this chapter, we delve into the intricate relationship between economic and political factors in the context of sustainable development, particularly focusing on developing countries. Our goal is to shed light on the complex dynamics influencing sustainable development efforts. Through a thorough examination of economic processes, policies, and stakeholders, we emphasize the critical roles played by both economic and political considerations in driving sustainable development agendas. We try to explore the governmental policies, market mechanisms, and international economic frameworks to understand how they interact with socioeconomic factors like womens participation in politics, education levels, and employability, all of which significantly impact the achievement of sustainable development goals in developing nations. These factors are crucial determinants in the achievement of sustainable development goals, particularly in developing countries where socioeconomic disparities are pronounced. By elucidating these intersections and influences, we aim to navigate a path forward that shapes inclusive and effective sustainable development initiatives.
