Abstract

Federal Prosecution Principles provide the general principles and guidelines governing federal prosecutors' prosecution of business organizations for criminal conduct. They examine a range of legal, institutional, and policy considerations concerning the prosecution of corporations. Business organizations are defined broadly to include corporations, partnerships, and similar entities. Law enforcement and regulatory agencies, prosecutors, federal and state trial courts, and appellate courts are considered.
