Abstract
The Automatic Ration Dispenser Machine project aims to design and develop a secure, efficient, and user-friendly automated system for dispensing rationed goods to eligible beneficiaries. This system leverages advanced technologies, including the ESP32 microcontroller, fingerprint sensors, LCD displays, DC motors, and keypads, to streamline the public distribution process. By integrating biometric authentication through fingerprint sensors, the system ensures accurate and tamper-proof identification of beneficiaries, eliminating the need for physical cards like RFID. The automated dispensing mechanism, controlled by the ESP32 and powered by DC motors, minimizes human intervention, reduces errors, and prevents pilferage. The Smart Ration Card feature incorporates fingerprint authentication to verify individual identities, ensuring that rationed goods are allocated based on entitlement with high reliability and transparency. The inclusion of an LCD for user interaction and a keypad for input enhances user-friendliness, making the system accessible even in underserved and rural communities. This approach not only improves access to essential resources but also increases efficiency in the distribution process by automating material dispensing and ensuring equitable resource allocation. By addressing key challenges in the Public Distribution System, such as inefficiencies and manual errors, this project offers a robust solution to enhance transparency, security, and convenience in ration distribution. The Automatic Ration Dispenser Machine is a step toward modernizing and empowering resource delivery systems for a more equitable and sustainable future.
