Abstract

In this research the a simple proof of twin prime conjec-
ture is presented through exploration of the properties of a
sequence of the means of pairs of twin primes. The number
of terms of this sequence is related to those of a specific geo-
metric sequence with common ratio of 2. It is found that for
a given large interval the geometric sequence contains less
terms compaired to the sequence whose terms are means
of pairs are twin primes. Ir is shown that since the geomet-
ric sequence cotains infinite number of terms, it follows that
there are infinite number of twin primes.
