Results revealed that the difficulties included technological and infrastructure barriers in digitization, skills and knowledge gaps in digitization, and preservation concerns. These challenges were addressed by employing strategy such as upgrades the technological infrastructure, training and professional development, and new digital preservation methods. The forms of support that they needed from the administrators to facilitate successful digitization projects were increase financial resource allocation, administrative support for policy development, and expanding collaboration for resource sharing of digitized collections.
